Our story

Coming home to yourself

Atmapuri was founded by Ionut Trandafir. Eight years ago, while feeling drained by corporate routine, I discovered gemstones. The first piece that truly called to me was a Tourmaline Chakra bracelet.

Atmapuri comes from Sanskrit, meaning “city of the soul / Self.” It speaks of unity, belonging, and the truth that we are all deeply connected.

The subtle grounding of those stones felt like coming home to myself, and sparked a journey of listening to the language of stones. Atmapuri is a space where that connection is celebrated through quality craftsmanship and quiet nature-wisdom.

Hold your piece, breathe deeply, and speak your intention aloud three times: “I am grounded and calm.”

Pass through sage or palo santo smoke, leave under full moonlight, or rest on a selenite plate.

Put jewellery on last, store it in its pouch away from sunlight, and wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
